The Port Coquitlam Cardinals finished in second place at the B.C. Bantam A Provincial Championships last weekend after squeaking into the tournament as the tenth seed. The team is made up of players Jordan Bischoff, Marcus Grzac, Aidan Howker, Bryn Tomlins, Ryan Palk, Connor Strongman, Kerry An, D.J. Marques, Massimo Perozzo, Nick Tara, Kobe Sam, Jacob Richards and Lyle Taylor and coached by Dave Bird, Anthony Bischoff, Mike Sam and Chris Strongman
The Poco Cardinals 15 A Summer Team won the U15 “A” Provincials in Chilliwack, becoming the first Poco Minor team in 22 years to win a provincial title and the first U15/Bantam team to ever win. Players on the team are Nick Yu, Marcus Grzac, Lyle Taylor, DJ Marques, Connor Strongman, Evan Callow, Jacob Angelozzi, Blake Shular, Kobe Sam, Matt Frers, Kerry An, Nick Lindholm and Bryn Tomlins
